Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East View). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Elgin Wildcats 57-20. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Patriots have posted since January 26, 2024.

Despite the loss, Elgin saw an underclassman step up: freshman Alasia Brown posted five points along with seven boards and three blocks.

East View is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-18 record this season. As for Elgin, they dropped their record down to 6-22 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hendrickson the next time they take the court. East View will head out to face Hendrickson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Elgin will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th.
