Volleyball Recap: Redlands Takes a Loss

Redlands and Kennedy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Redlands had to settle for second. They came up short against the Fighting Irish, falling 3-0.

Redlands was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-22.

Redlands has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-9 record this season. As for Kennedy, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-10.

Redlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kennedy, they will challenge California at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Condors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Fighting Irish surely won't give up without a fight.
