New Hanover had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Sanderson Spartans, posting an 83-55 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Kellum Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 13-for-19 on his way to 29 points and seven boards. Those 29 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zeus Batts, who shot 45% from the field en route to 12 points along with six assists and six rebounds.

New Hanover pushed their record up to 30-2 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.2 points. As for Sanderson, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 27-4 record.

Looking ahead, New Hanover will face off against North Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in North Mecklenburg's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 22 games. Sanderson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
