Basketball Recap: Hanna Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Hanna duked it out with Mission on Friday. The Golden Eagles lost 47-23 to the Eagles. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

CAMILA BIEN-AIME was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. BIEN-AIME is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. VICTORIA GUZMAN was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

Hanna's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Mission, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6.

Hanna has already played their next matchup, a 31-30 victory against Hidalgo Early College on the 21st. As for Mission, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 37-11 win against Lopez on the 21st.
