Soccer Game Preview: Enterprise vs. Red Bluff

The Enterprise Hornets will face off against the Red Bluff Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Enterprise is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering University Prep just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1.

Enterprise's goal came courtesy of Abdiel Franco-Gomez, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Red Bluff kept a clean sheet against Yreka on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Miners out 1-0. That's two games straight that the Spartans have won by just one goal.

Red Bluff has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Enterprise, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2-1.

Enterprise came up short against Red Bluff when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 4-2. Can Enterprise avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
