Recap: Riverton Rams vs. Parsons Vikings
Riverton lost against Parsons back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Riverton Rams fell just short of the Parsons Vikings by a score of 6-5.
Avery Barnett and Shelby Barnett did some serious damage despite the final result: Barnett scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Barnett scored a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Mcdonald, who went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Riverton now has a losing record at 1-2.
Riverton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-1 victory vs. College Heights Christian on the 22nd. As for Parsons, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pittsburg on Monday.
