Basketball Recap: Sweeny Bulldogs vs. Wharton Tigers
Sweeny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wharton Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-29 back in December of 2024.

Sweeny lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kamryn Bragg, who posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and seven blocks.
