Basketball Recap: Traverse City HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Traverse City HomeSchool lost against Grand Traverse Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Traverse City HomeSchool Bulldogs fell 48-35 to the Grand Traverse Academy Mustangs. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Weston Kinney continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Grand Traverse Academy, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 19 boards. Kinney is becoming a predictor of Grand Traverse Academy's success: when he posts at least eight rebounds the team is 6-3 (and 3-6 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Dix, who posted six points and nine boards.

Traverse City HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Grand Traverse Academy, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Traverse City HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grand Traverse Academy, they will square off against Forest Area at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
