Softball Recap: Neoga Indians vs. North Clay/Clay City
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Anthony, Neoga was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They skirted past North Clay/Clay City 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-1 back in April.
Hannah Propst made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off nine hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Audrey Kepp was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Josalyn Brandenburg, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Neoga kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
