Baseball Preview: Central Crossing Comets vs. Reynoldsburg Raiders
Central Crossing and Reynoldsburg are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Comets will take on the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Crossing will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
Central Crossing is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Briggs get on the board and left with a 20-0 win on Monday. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Preston Carter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Central Crossing is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-19 otherwise. Carter was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Reynoldsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Westerville North, falling 15-0.
Central Crossing's record now sits at 5-20. As for Reynoldsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
