It was a good run, but River Islands unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 62-54 to the Ripon Indians.

When it comes to explaining why River Islands lost, don't look at Idrees ElFarra. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 12 on his way to 24 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Mapanao, who posted 12 points.

Marcus Madoski continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ripon, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 11 boards. Madoski's evening made it 17 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Logan Lefebvre was another key player, going 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points along with six assists and five boards.

River Islands' defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Ripon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

River Islands will welcome Turlock Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. River Islands is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.9 points per game this season. As for Ripon, they will venture away from home to face off against Orestimba at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Ripon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
