Aransas Pass fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Taft on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds.

Meanwhile, Odem ended up a good deal behind Mathis on Tuesday and lost 42-26. The Owls haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Odem's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Aransas Pass, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Everything came up roses for Aransas Pass against Odem when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 73-12 win. Will Aransas Pass repeat their success, or does Odem have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
