Volleyball Recap: Badin Comes Up Short

Badin had taken Talawanda down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Brave. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Hailey Weber paced Badin's offense, picking up six kills. Weber got some help from Elyse Weinheimer and her 17 assists. Finally, Brooklyn Johnson and Addie Pfiester kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

Badin's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Talawanda, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Badin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Summit Country Day on the 11th. As for Talawanda, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Archbishop McNicholas on the 13th.
