Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern HomeSchool Cardinals vs. Chatham HomeSchool Thunder

Southeastern HomeSchool and Chatham HomeSchool are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2019, but not for long. The Southeastern HomeSchool Cardinals will host the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Thursday, Southeastern HomeSchool beat New Life Camp 57-50. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Storm are ranked 346th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Chatham HomeSchool entered their tilt with NC H on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 62-55 victory over the Heat.

Chatham HomeSchool pushed their record up to 20-12 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Southeastern HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Southeastern HomeSchool didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Chatham HomeSchool when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 56-50 victory.
