Softball Game Preview: Bellaire Big Reds vs. River Pilots

The Bellaire Big Reds will face off against the River Pilots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bellaire came up short against Union Local on Monday, falling 13-7. The Big Reds haven't had much luck with the Jets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Addison Kovach was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Another player making a difference was Alyson Vingia, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, River lost 17-7 to Caldwell on Monday.

Bellaire's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for River, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
