Baseball Recap: Rattan Rams vs. Hugo Buffaloes

In what's become a running theme this season, Rattan gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They blew past the Hugo Buffaloes 11-1. The victory was nothing new for Rattan as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Logan Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Smith was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, James Childers was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ben Ellis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

On Hugo's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maliki Gillean, who went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Trystunn Fleeks, who scored a run and stole two bases.
