Volleyball Game Preview: Harbor Beach Pirates vs. Brown City Green Devils + How To Watch

The Harbor Beach Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Brown City Green Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Harbor Beach is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Ubly just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Bearcats.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-15.

Despite the defeat, Harbor Beach had strong showings from Reese Booms, who had 20 digs, and Keltie Deer, who had ten assists and eight digs. Booms has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Meanwhile, Brown City didn't have quite enough to beat Croswell-Lexington on Thursday and fell 2-1. While the Green Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pioneers 25-18 in the first set.

Brown City started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Harbor Beach's loss dropped their record down to 8-8-3. As for Brown City, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-18.
