Softball Game Preview: Silver Valley Trojans vs. Big Bear Bears

For the second straight game, Silver Valley will face off against Big Bear. The Trojans will head out to face off against the Bears at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Silver Valley has given up an average of 20.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Silver Valley's offense. They came up short against Big Bear on Tuesday, falling 27-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost nine in a row.

Silver Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danika Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

The win was the 16th in a row for Big Bear, bringing their record up to 20-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.8 runs over those games. As for Silver Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
