Basketball Recap: Tidewater Academy Takes a Loss

Tidewater Academy lost against Kenston Forest back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tidewater Academy Warriors were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 24-23 to the Kenston Forest Kavaliers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kenston Forest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hartly Andrews, who posted eight points and 15 rebounds. Andrews has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kardin Jones, who scored six points along with six rebounds and six steals.

Tidewater Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Kenston Forest, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Tidewater Academy will square off against Fuqua at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kenston Forest, they will face off against Southampton Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
