Noble & Greenough and Buckingham Browne & Nichols are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will face off against the Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Noble & Greenough proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Tabor Academy 8-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Mac Bianchi, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Keegan Crowe was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last matchup, Buckingham Browne & Nichols made sure to put some runs up on the board against Groton School on Monday. The Knights came out on top against Groton School by a score of 11-6.

KENNETH TSAY made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He is becoming a predictor of Buckingham Browne & Nichols' success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 3-1 (and 4-6-1 when he doesn't). TSAY was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, DECLAN WILKES was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. CORTEZ HEYWORTH also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The victory got Buckingham Browne & Nichols back to even at 7-7-1. As for Noble & Greenough, their record is now 10-3.

Noble & Greenough beat Buckingham Browne & Nichols 7-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
