Basketball Recap: Lincoln Gets the Win

While Lincoln didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They managed a 45-40 win over the Cedar Bluff Tigers on Thursday. For the Golden Bears, this counts as revenge for the 44-39 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Cedar Bluff, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-37 loss against Sylacauga on the 6th. As for Cedar Bluff, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-23 defeat against Sand Rock on the 10th.
