Baseball Game Preview: Fieldcrest Knights vs. Prairie Central Hawks

The Fieldcrest Knights will face off against the Prairie Central Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Fieldcrest's offense. They came up short against Eureka on Thursday, falling 12-0. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Prairie Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 13-0 to Olympia. Hawks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Spartans since on Thursday.

Fieldcrest's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Prairie Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.
