Baseball Recap: Center Point Falls to Brackett in First Game of Season

Center Point unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 14-3 to the Brackett Tigers on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Center Point saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Segura, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Point will venture away from home to challenge Medina at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Brackett, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
