Soccer Recap: Memorial vs. Columbus Grove
After flying high against Van Wert last Tuesday, Memorial came back down to earth. The Memorial Roughriders fell just short of the Columbus Grove Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Roughriders couldn't quite close it out.
Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Columbus Grove, the win for them keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memorial will stay at home for another game and welcome Shawnee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbus Grove, they will welcome St. John's at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
