Basketball Recap: Hendrickson's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a Battle of the Birds when Hendrickson challenged Georgetown on Friday. The Hendrickson Hawks managed a 55-50 win over the Georgetown Eagles. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Hawks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 712th, while the Eagles are ranked 199th).

With the win, Hendrickson broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-20. As for Georgetown, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-11 record this season.

Hendrickson will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pflugerville at 7:00 p.m. As for Georgetown, they are taking a road trip to challenge Weiss at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
