It was a good run, but New Hope Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Eastern Eagles by a score of 64-62. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (61), the Statesmen still had to take the loss.

New Hope Christian Academy's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3. As for Eastern, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Hope Christian Academy will head out to square off against Patriot Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastern, they are taking a road trip to challenge Symmes Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
