Volleyball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Summit Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Mount Hope Christian Academy Warriors, falling 3-0. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Summit Christian Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-15, 25-21.

Summit Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Mount Hope Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Summit Christian Academy will face off against rival Lewisburg Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Mount Hope Christian Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Calvary Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
