Basketball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur was the 63-46 winner over Skyline when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell 53-49 to the Raiders on Saturday.

MacArthur has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Skyline, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

Coming up, MacArthur will be home for the holidays to greet Berkner at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Skyline, they will head out on the road to face off against Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.46 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
