Carmel won the last time they faced Lawrence Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Greyhounds walked away with a 70-62 victory over the Bears. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greyhounds.

Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Wells, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Doron Harris, who went 7-for-17 on his way to 19 points.

Carmel's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lawrence Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carmel will welcome Noblesville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence Central, they will host Lawrence North at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Bears' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
