South Gray waltzed into their match on Saturday with 15 straight wins... but they left with 16. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Spearville Lancers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

South Gray didn't let Spearville take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Keagan Mel Eesa Showalter, who had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 17 contests.

South Gray's win bumped their record up to 29-2. As for Spearville, they moved to 27-6 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

South Gray wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Ingalls on the 11th. Hopefully Spearville paid attention to the Rebels' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Rebels on Tuesday.
