Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Southwestern came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Boscobel Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 last Thursday.

Megan Roepsch paced Southwestern's offense, picking up seven kills. Roepsch got some help from Alyssa Shelliam and her 18 assists. Shelliam was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Southwestern's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Boscobel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-22.

Coincidentally, Southwestern and Boscobel will both be playing East Dubuque the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Warriors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 10:30 a.m.
