Soccer Game Preview: Monroe vs. Chavez

Monroe hasn't had much luck against Chavez recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Vikings will venture away from home to challenge the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Monroe had taken Grant down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers.

Meanwhile, Chavez hasn't lost a match since November 20, 2025, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Neither they nor North Hollywood could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Chavez have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2025.

Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-4. Chavez's draw makes their record 15-2-2 this season.
