Basketball Game Preview: Limestone Rockets vs. Metamora Redbirds

Limestone is 2-8 against Metamora since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Limestone Rockets just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Metamora Redbirds at 7:00 p.m. Metamora took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Limestone, who comes in off a win.

Limestone took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lincoln, sneaking past 48-45.

Meanwhile, Metamora was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 56-50 to Montini Catholic.

Limestone's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7. As for Metamora, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Limestone beat Metamora 57-47 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Will Limestone repeat their success, or does Metamora have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
