            Softball Recap: Madison-Grant Argylls vs. South Adams Starfires        
        
		
        
        
            Madison-Grant dropped their record down to 18-9 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the South Adams Starfires by a score of  2-1. The Argylls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Starfires apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in May of 2024.
 Madison-Grant saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Olivia Dunham, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double.
As for South Adams, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.0 runs over those games.
