Central California AA recap September 24, 2013
Big Valley Christian lost to Ripon Christian 47-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Marcus Zuniga was a bright spot for the Lions, as he caught 5 passes for 34 yards in the loss.
Stone Ridge Christian led Central California AA in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Turlock Christian. Estevon Herrera ran for 191 yards in the win.
Millennium's dynamic duo of Manjot Atwal and Malik Charles proved to be unstoppable against Vacaville Christian, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Atwal threw for 81 yards and Charles had 30 yards receiving.

Herrera provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Knights topped the Eagles.
Herrera was the most successful running back in the league this week. Teammate Jaime Trevino added to the ground attack by rushing for 122 yards.
Brenden O'brien was a key player and the best on defense this week as Big Valley Christian fell to the Knights. The 6-foot-0 senior.
Atwal put up the best numbers through the air as Millennium lost to Vacaville Christian.
Charles was the best wideout in the league this week as Jayson Dias' team lost to Booker Guyton / Michael Merriweather's team.
Brookside Christian's Austin Caldron and Edrico Oliver Jr. have formed a dream team this season, leading Central California AA in both passing and receiving yards. Caldron has thrown for 734 yards this season, while Oliver Jr., a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 17 catches for 181 yards. Herrera from Stone Ridge Christian leads the league in rushing with 333 yards.
Arthur De Jager's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 14,345 from 14,451. The improvement came about via a 35-6 victory over Turlock Christian last week.
