Baseball Recap: Sandy Spring Friends Wins Going Away Against Spencerville Adventist Academy

Sandy Spring Friends's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets 9-3. The win continues a trend for the Wildebeests in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won six in a row.

Riis Agnew spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Henry Sommers was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Edelman, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.
