Volleyball Recap: Waccamaw Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Waccamaw's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Loris Lions 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 9th.

While Waccamaw won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-23.

Waccamaw pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Loris, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

The Warriors are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Loris, they will head out to face off against Marlboro County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
