Lawrence won the last time they faced Dracut and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lancers skirted past the Middies 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lancers have posted against the Middies since April 14, 2017.

The win made it two in a row for Lawrence and bumps their season record up to 2-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-4 Dracut and 0-5 Haverhill. As for Dracut, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence will host Lowell at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Lancers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Dracut, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Haverhill at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Middies are facing the Hillies at the right time seeing as the Hillies are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
