Basketball Game Preview: Lanphier Lions vs. MacArthur Generals

Lanphier is 2-8 against MacArthur since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Lanphier Lions will welcome the MacArthur Generals at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Lanphier came up short against Lincoln and fell 43-36.

Meanwhile, MacArthur was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Rochester 57-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Generals.

MacArthur pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Lanphier, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.

Things could have been worse for Lanphier, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-51 loss to MacArthur when the teams last played back in December of 2024.
