Softball Recap: Laguna Hills Comes Up Short

Laguna Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Katella Knights.

Laguna Hills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Iris Martinez, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Laguna Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Katella, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9.

Coincidentally, Laguna Hills and Katella will both be playing Calvary Chapel the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Hawks will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
