Baseball Recap: Moore Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Moore won the last time they faced Eisenhower and things went their way on Tuesday too. Moore was the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Eisenhower. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won five matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Moore's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Eisenhower, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore will host Deer Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eisenhower, they will welcome Cache at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Cache has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.18 runs per game on average), something Eisenhower will no doubt try to take advantage of.
