Volleyball Recap: Crandall Comes Up Short

Crandall had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walnut Grove Wildcats on Thursday.

Leading Walnut Grove to victory were Maleah Evans and Kacie Vest. Evans had 14 assists and two aces, while Vest had three digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Vest a new career-high.

Walnut Grove now has a winning record of 2-1.

Crandall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Grace Prep on the 16th. As for Walnut Grove, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against North Crowley on the 14th.
