Basketball Recap: Rainier Takes a Loss

Rainier came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Corbett Cardinals, falling 68-42. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-35 back in January.

Rainier has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season. As for Corbett, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Neah-Kah-Nie the next time they take the court. Rainier will head out to face Neah-Kah-Nie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Corbett will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
