Basketball Game Preview: Telstar Rebels vs. St. Dominic Saints

The Telstar Rebels will take on the St. Dominic Saints at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Telstar comes in on three and St. Dominic on seven.

Telstar is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They beat Wiscasset by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 74-67.

Meanwhile, St. Dominic got the win against Forest Hills on Saturday by a conclusive 75-53. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

St. Dominic's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Telstar, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.

Telstar came up short against St. Dominic when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 61-54. Can Telstar avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
