Basketball Recap: North Stokes Takes a Loss

North Stokes was the 70-59 winner over Elkin when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The North Stokes Vikings fell to the Elkin Buckin' Elks 65-59. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Stokes' defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Elkin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

North Stokes has already played their next contest (against Starmount), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Elkin will take on East Wilkes at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
