Volleyball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Takes a Loss

Palmyra-Eagle saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Wonewoc-Center Wolves. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bailey Leroy paced Palmyra-Eagle's offense, picking up five kills. Leroy got some help from Briahna Covarrubias and her six assists. Covarrubias was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Palmyra-Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Wonewoc-Center, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Palmyra-Eagle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Randolph on the 6th. As for Wonewoc-Center, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fall River on the 6th.
