Football Recap: South Umpqua Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Umpqua was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-13 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coquille Red Devils. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

South Umpqua's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Coquille, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Umpqua is set to face off against their familiar foe Brookings-Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Coquille will challenge rival Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
