Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Takes a Loss

Sheridan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Bennett Tigers. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-5, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Kaylonnie Mclaury, who had eight aces and one assist. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Sheridan's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Bennett, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season.

Sheridan will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against SkyView Academy at 6:00 p.m. As for Bennett, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Platte Canyon on the 18th.
