Softball Recap: Deep Creek Victorious

The Deep Creek Hornets were able to grind out a solid victory over the Currituck County Knights on Wednesday, taking the game 7-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Larah Fray looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Bailey Cockrell was a standout: she scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Izzy Shollenbarger was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
