Soccer Recap: Lakota West's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Lakota West lost to Little Miami back in October of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Firebirds walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Lakota West's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while Little Miami are ranked 210th).

Lakota West's win bumped their record up to 9-2-3. As for Little Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakota West will challenge Colerain at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Little Miami, they will take on Walnut Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
